Bowel PreparationPatients undergoing colonoscopy are prescribed Plenvu as the standard bowel prep. Detailed instructions and patient information are provided to ensure effective preparation and comfort.

Safety and AccreditationAll procedures are performed under sedation in fully accredited facilities with specialist anaesthetists. Dr Idrees maintains current training in endoscopic safety and polypectomy techniques and adheres to national bowel cancer screening program (NBCSP) protocols.

Information for Referring GPsWe accept direct access referrals for routine and urgent gastroscopy or colonoscopy. Patients with iron deficiency, positive iFOBT, PR bleeding, or dyspepsia refractory to treatment should be referred promptly.Endoscopy services are typically available within 1–2 weeks. Please include relevant clinical information and pathology reports (iFOBT, iron studies, FBC, etc.) to facilitate timely triage. Referrals can be sent securely via HealthLink, email/fax. Direct communication is welcomed for urgent bookings or tailored advice.
